 本日(Oct.3  LCT) 12時にニウエ　Ａｌｏｆｉに無事到着し、入国手続きを済ませました。

貿易風の風下に当たる島の西側にコンクリートの突堤が一本とニウエヨットクラブが管理する十数個のブイがあるだけで、その１個に舫わせてもらいました。他にもヨットが６隻くらい係留してます。

島は環礁が隆起してできたものとしては世界最大だそうですが、南大東島同様、低く平らなのでかなり近づくまでわかりませんでした。これまで見てきた火山性のぎざぎざしたポリネシアの島々と全く違います。

今週金曜まで居るつもりです。レンタカー明日から３日間予約しました（他に交通手段なし）。ここもドコモの海外対応電話が通じません。

　We arrived at Alofi of Niue at noon LCT. Alofi is on the west side and trade wind lee side of the island. Unlike ordinary port,there is  one concrete pier and some 18 mooring buoys very well maintained by Niue Yacht Club, without protection.. Due to the island formation of raised atoll, Niue is so flat that we could not landfall it until we came close.
