今日２５日は終日萩観光。午前中は松下村塾などがある松陰ゆかりの地、午後は木戸孝允、高杉晋作の旧家がある城下町地区、そして桂太郎の別邸がある藍場川(運河）地区と観光地区を殆ど回りました。夕方大島さんが到着、我々が風呂に入っていた萩グランドﾎﾃﾙにご足労願いました。そして４人でホテル前の居酒屋で夕食。今日は沢山歩いて、飲んだため９時過ぎで皆寝ています。
Today, we enjoyed Hagi City sight seeing whole day. In late afternoon ,Mr. Oshima arrived from Nagoya to Join us. He will participate in the voyage till it finishes in August.
最初に松下村塾へ。At first we went to the famous Shokasonnjuku , small private school where many of the young heroes of Meiji revolution learned and influenced by the young teacher Shoin Yoshida.
Center of the top row is Shoin Yoshida, the surrounding pictures are those of his disciplines who played most important roles of Meiji-ishinn( rather soft revolution).

Takayoshi Kido's house where he lived 20 years. Takayoshi Kido's another name when young was
Kogoro Katsura, who played the most important role in Meiji-ishin revolution among the heroes from Yamaguchi Prefecture.
In Takayoshi Kido's house I found a photograph of my friend Mr.Higuchi with whom I worked in Space Systems Department of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for many years. He is the grand-grand son of Takayoshi Kido. I talked with him on telephone today.

Ate and drank with newly joining Mr.Oshima(second from left) . Mr.Niwa (far left ) will leave King Bee tomorrow morning but he promises he will rejoin in late July.
