On July 3, we visited the ancient Shrine, Miho Jingu near the tip of the peninsula where Shichirui Port exists. In front of the Shrine is a cove where many ships stopped in olden days and an old town is preserved near the original. In the afternoon we stopped at Shigeru Mizuki's memorial exhibition house. He is a famous ghost and monster cartoons. Then to well known Kaike Hot spring.

Today, July 4, we left the nice Shichirui Port at 6:00 and now sailing to Tottori Port with 10-15kt South wind on a-beam, without motoring. seldom case of KING BEE when cruising in Japan.
On July2 , we enjoyed Tottori sightseeing after driving 120km toward east.
Sand Hill at Tottori Pref.'s coast which was formed by large amount of sand carried by a river and wave power of the sea.
Jinpu-kaku, a modern building made in Meiji Period for then prince Taisho Emperor's visit to Tottori City.
鳥取目指して航行中
今日７月４日、やっと風が１５ｋｔくらいに収まったので朝６時に七類港を出て鳥取に向かってます。南の風１０－１５ｋｔでアビームで６－７ｋｔで快適に帆走してます。天気は曇り。
７月２日は、鳥取観光。レンタカーで東へ１２０ｋｍ走って、先ず鳥取砂丘へ。その後市内へ行って昼食後、仁風閣を訪問。明治４０年に、当時皇太子だった大正天皇をお迎えするために立てられた洋館でなかなかのものでした。向かいにあった博物館も訪問。そして鳥取港へ行き、管理事務所にヨット係留場所を確認。それから三朝温泉へ。花屋別館で温泉につかる。ヨットに帰り着いたのは午後八時前。皆で手分けしてイカ刺し、朝釣ったアジのから揚げなど料理してキャビンで夕食。美味しかった！
７月３日朝小林君と二人で５０匹くらい小あじを釣る。家内は漁港前の定置網を水揚げ場で505円でイカ３杯をゲット。２日に境港のおさかなセンターで２０００円もしたのと大違い。これらの下ごしらえをしたあと１０時半から近くの美保神社へ。由緒ある立派な神社でした。前の湾は北前船で賑わった所で、古い町並みが保存されている。そして岬先端の古い灯台へ。かって宿舎だった石造りの建物が今はカフェで、目の前に大海原が見渡せて素晴らしい所でした。その後境港の町でコインランドリーと買い物。午後、水木しげる記念館を訪問したあと、皆生温泉まで行ってまた温泉を楽しむ。毎日有名な温泉三昧で幸せ！そしてヨットに戻って美味しい夕食。

松江観光
今日７月１日は松江観光。先ず朝９時に港湾管理事務所１階建てのプレハブへ。若い親切な人が出てきて丁寧に説明してくれ、今とめている最奥の岸壁は外来船のためなのでＯＫ．４日までで４９４円でした。さらに、中海へ入るには、以前は跳ね上げ橋を通る必要があったが、高い橋（４０ｍくらい）ができたので、ヨットでもそのまま米子港へいけると説明あり。
そしてレンタカーで松江観光へ。いろいろ見たあと夕方玉造温泉へ行きましたが月曜なので公共温泉「ゆうゆう館」は休み。向かいの立派な松の湯（ﾎﾃﾙ）で湯につかりました。帰りに境港の居酒屋で夕食。酔っ払いました。

We visited the old house where Novelist Lafcadio Hearn (Koizumi Yakumo) lived in1896 or so. He introduced traditional horror stories of this district by short novels to western world.
This big turtle used to haunt in the town at night, So, people put a heavy stone on the back to disableb him. Hearn's novel explains so.

七類港に入港
本日３０日、隠岐はあきらめて境港公共マリーナに入ろうと走りながら電話したら、４０フィート以下でないとだめとのこと、代わりに境港の半島を越えた北側の七類港に入ることを勧められました。１２：３０に入港し最奥突き当りの岸壁に舫う。今日は日曜で港湾管理事務所がやすみなので正式許可は明日とることに。古くからの良港で、三方を山で囲まれ、奥まったいいところです。
１９９２年に６．５ｋｇの隕石が近くの家に落下し、それが港にある大きなメテオプラザという建物に展示されています。ここには風呂、プール、食堂などあり便利です。明日はレンタカーを借りて観光の予定。
During sailing toward Sakai Port, I telephoned to Sakai-kou Marina. But they said they accept boats less than 40feet only, and recommended to go to Shichirui Port in the north of Sakai-kou. We arrived at Shichirui at 12:30, and found this port is quite nice surrounded by hills . What's more , on the port side there is a big house named Meteo Plaza where exhibited a 6.5kg meteorite which fell on the nearby house in 1992. Meteo Plaza has a public bath ,a pool and a restaurant. Very convenient!

小林さん到着、隠岐はあきらめ
６月３０日、朝６時に温泉津を出港、１０：２０に出雲の大社港に入港。晴れ、穏やか。
近くの寿レンタカーに電話すると、カローラをヨット前まで持ってきてくれた。１日５２５０円。船で昼食後レンタカーで出雲大社詣で。小林君が電車で１４時前に出雲大社に到着し無事出会う。一緒に資料館を見てから、コインランドリー、スーパーでの買い物のあと、出雲ドームにある健康ランドでお風呂。立派なのにシルバー３００円で安い。昼間、港の漁協直売所で買ったイカ、イサキ、貝で船上夕食。気象海洋（株）の天気予報を見たら２９日の予報からだいぶ変わっていて、停滞前線で隠岐あたりは７月２日から風が強まり３日から８日は３５－４０ｋｔ、４－７日は雨、となった。相談の結果３０日の隠岐行きはあきらめ、境港に変更。好転するまで温泉めぐりか？
June 30, leaving Yunotsu at 6:00, we arrived at Taisha port near Izumo Taisha Shrine. We went to the Shrine early afternoon by a renta car, where Kobayashi-san from Nagoya joineed us. Then, coin laundry, super market, and Public bath. In the evening, welcome party on King Bee using fresh fish which we had bought at the port side fish store.
We found the weather forecast turned worse and the sea will become rough dering July3-8th. So, we decided to give up to go to Oki Islands some 50M off to the north. Instead, we decided to go to Sakai-minato ,50 M east on Honshu(main land). Maybe ,every day onsen enjoying being confined by bad weather for several days there.

観光デー
２８日朝８時半にタクシーを呼び、先ず近くの沖泊と呼ばれる昔の銀積み出しの入り江へ。係留のための穴がうがたれた岩があちこちにありました。そして石見銀山へ。世界遺産センターで全容を勉強。１５２６年に博多の豪商が開発して急速に進展、一時は世界の銀産出の３分の１を占め、中国、ヨーロッパに輸出していたそう。
帰ってまた薬師の湯へ、そして居酒屋へ。コインランドリーはなかった。観光案内所「遊遊館」でトイレが24時間使えます。漁協にお願いして水１００リッターばかりもらいました。

They explained that Iwami Ginzan was developed since 1526 and grew so big that it produced 1/3 of world silver production at a time and exported to China and Europe.
