Japanese Highest light house at Amarube Cape, 286m high.

Shibayama port entrance
Daijo-ji Temple where many sliding door paintings painted by famous Tokugawa Period painter Maruyama Ohkyo exist. The monk here helped a lot when Maruyama Ohkyo was young and just started to study paintings.

Big main building of the temple .

The temple's wall is like that of a castle. Feudal  Lord of Izushi sometimes visited this temple. So, this design I suppose.

Ruins of Amarube iron bridge which was substituted by a concrete bridge and is being converted into sightseeing view point. On a strong wind day in December of 1986, a train (fortunately only Operator and a conductor was on ) was blown off  and fell over a crab canning factory killing five women employees and a conductor. The heavy diesel engine head car remained  on the bridge and the driver survived.

Frog rock
