 昨日２１日１４時ころ風が弱まったので以後ずっとエンジンも使ってます。

ラロトンガ港は島の北側にあり北風が吹くと波が入ってきて良くないそうですが、他には湾も港もありません。しかし予報では明日２３日午後から北風が２０ｋｔまで吹くだろうとのことなので早めに入港すべくスピードを上げてます。

 昨日またしてもケンケンは大物に逃げられました。これで連続４回。ショック吸収のために付けていた７ｍｍ直径のショックコード（布カバーのあるゴムひも）が切れていました。今日はこれ無しで挑戦中です。

We 've been using the engine since 14PM  of yesterday. Rarotonga's only port ,Avatiu, is located at the northern side of the island and weak for north wind. According to Baba-san's forecast, the north wind will start to blow to 20kt from tomorrow afternoon. So we are going as fast as possible. to enter the port before the north wind gets strong. Yesterday, the trolling set again failed to catch a big fish. This is consecutively fourth time ! 7mm dia. shock cord was broken. Today, I am challenging again without shock cord.
