　ラロトンガ方向が真追っ手になるのでその方向へは走れず（ジブセールがばたつくため）ジグザグ進行です。航程の中ほどまで来ました。これまでどおり貿易風帯は安定し東風が吹いて、殆ど晴れで、不安定な日本近海とは大違いです。
　昼間はＴシャツ、短パンですが日陰は涼しく、夜は長ズボン、長袖シャツにジャンパーが必要です。日本は残暑が厳しいらしいですが、熱帯なのでずっと過ごしやすいです。
ボラボラ出港以来、他の船に一度も出会っていません。鳥が時々見えるくらい。

Wind direction coincides with that toward Rarotonga. So, we are sailing ZIGZAG to avoid the shivering oｆｆ Jib. The course is in the midst of the trade wind and the weather is stable with constant easterly wind and blue sky almost every day. During daytime we wear T-shirt and short pants, but long pants and long sleeve shirt ,and a Jumper is necessary at night watch. We have not encountered any other ship yet since Bora Bora departure. My trolling set has not got any fish yet.
