ヨットKING BEEの航海: Sep.13-14

13日８時にタハア島西のＴａｐｕａｍｕ湾から碇を揚げ、貿易風帯にしては珍しく穏やかな海を４時間半機帆走し１２時半にボラボラ島西にある町Ｖａｉｔａｐｅ近くの沖にアンカリング。北の小島にある飛行場からの高速連絡船が着くＶａｉｔａｐｅの港へゴムボートで出かけましたが、観光客が多いと見えてみやげ物店、スーパー他いろいろあり賑やかです。Ｇｅｎｄａｒｍｅｒｉｅへ到着の報告へ行くと、出港１日前にまた来るように、そのときにデポジット返却の書類を書くとのこと。アンカリングしたところのすぐ前が小さなショッピングモールとレストランだったので、ここで夕食。タヒチで初めての一流フランス料理を食べることができました。

14日は朝レンタカーを２時間借りて一周ドライブ。午後南西へ移動しアンカリングして、オテマヌ山など独特の形の山々が良く見える砂浜でシュノーケリングしました。そして午後３時ころ抜錨してＶａｄｉｔａｐｅから２キロほど北のボラボラヨットクラブ前の泊地でブイを拾って係留したところです。レストラン、トイレ、シャワー、水供給はＯＫですが軽油は無いとのこと。多分ここで３泊くらいして１７日朝春日井さん、小林さん、家内を送って、Ｖａｉｔａｐｅ港あたりで一時係留し高岡さんの到着を待とうと思います。
　明日は途中で泳いだりしながら、ヨットで島の北部、東部をぐるっと周ろうと思ってます。

　At 8 o'clock of 13th morning, we left Tahaa. After sailing with engine on for 4hours and a half in very calm condition, KING BEE arrived off Vaitape and anchored. It seems many tourists visit here, so, many suvenier stores, banks, post office ,supermarkets were found. We happend to anchor close to a small shopping mall with a nice restaurant. We took dinner there, which was our first time to eat good French .cuisine in Tahiti..

We enjoyed 2 hours driving arround the Island this morning. In the afternoon we went to the south western part of inside reef sea by KING BEE and enjoyed snorkelling with nice view of strange looking mountains such as Mt.Otenuma. Arround 3 in the afternoon , we mooved to the anchorage in front of Bora Bora Yacht Club and mooraed to one of their buoys. There is a restaurant, hot shower, water supply,toilet, but no fuel supply.We will enjoy sailing arround 70 % of the Island surrounding sea in the outer reef tomorrow.
