大船渡は復興の途中でした

　８月９日朝４：２０宮古シートピアなあど横岸壁を離岸、宮古湾を出たらまたもや霧、向かい風１０ktくらいの中、大船渡を目指す。殆ど機走。レーダーとAISを終始睨み、他船の動向を把握しながら、時には避航して慎重に進む。昼前から雨脚が強くなり、雷も。かなりの霧の中を大船渡入り口へ。１３：００に通過。入り口の赤青灯台は仮設の浮き灯台。堤防は破壊され、陸に近い方が２０％くらい残っているだけで、目下鋭意工事中でした。奥が深い大船渡港をどんどん奥へ進み、
JR大船渡駅に一番近い岸壁へ行くと、ヨットが５－６杯係留してあったので、その近く、作業船と作業船の間に横付け。岩手県土木管理事務所の了解を電話で取得。岸壁が非常に低いなと思っていたら、そのうちに海面以下になりました。付けたところの真ん中に、沖に打ったアンカーからのロープがあったのでそれでキングビーを沖へ引っ張り、岸壁の角に船が当たらないようにしました。陸に上がると、がれきが入った黒い袋が無数に並んでいました。所々に壊れたままの家も。ここでは復興は道半ば。皆さんの苦労はさぞかしと心が痛みます。
　At 4:20 of Aug.9 ,King Bee left Miyako and headed to Ofunato, again being surrounded by heavy fog. Wind was week but against. We encountered heavy rain with thunder before noon. We passed the entrance of Ofunato port, but the red and green light was temporary floating ones because some 80% of the entrance brake waters were lost and under construction. As we proceeded, several sailing boats were found. We tied King Bee to the very low wharf near there. But a couple of hours later, the top of the wharf started to be washed by sea water. On the ground , we found tremendous number of black bags containing the tsunami's debri, and several broken houses. This town is still struggling to recover from the Tsunami's disastar.

Tsunami's water reached the height of the blue notice on top of the building.

Due to the earthquake ground here sank more than a meter, and sea water washes the wharf's surcace.

Fortunately , there was a rope led from the anchor some 15m off. So, we could pull the boat away from the whaf.
