下風呂を出港しました。

　　８月４日１３時下風呂入港、入って右奥突き当たり、公園前の岸壁に横付け。漁協のOKをもらう。古くからの湯治場だった小さな町で、温泉客用のﾎﾃﾙ、旅館があります。公衆温泉２軒、小さな食料品屋１軒、食堂１軒。港の横に「烏賊様レース」と看板があがった店で生きたイカを２杯、食堂でイカ寿司を買い、ヨットで夕食しました。
　　８月５日；夜中から風が強まり、予報では沖は南東の風２０ｋｔだったのでしばらく待つことに。９時ころには風が弱まってきたので９時半に下風呂を出港しました。岸壁に押し付けられて大変でしたが、前に停泊していた函館のヨットの人たちに手伝ってもらって向きを変えて、やっとのことで離岸。今、青森県の太平洋岸の漁港、白糠を目指してます。もうすぐ太平洋です。

　　At 13:00, Aug.4, we arrived at Shimofuro ,a small fishermen's port. This small town has been used as Onsen(hotspring) curing place since several hundreds years ago. After our arrival many squid fishing boats returned . We found a store where they sell live squids. We bought some and ate for dinner on the boat.
     Aug. 5, wind increased from midnight. We delayed start , but the wind decreased at 9AM, so we left Shimofuro and headed to Shiranuka port ,which is on the Pacific side of Aomori prefecture ,northernmost prefecture of Honshu.

左の岸壁は帰ってきたイカ釣り船で一杯になりました。

昭和１８年に鉄道を引こうとしてアーチ型の橋が作られましたがレールは引かれないまま終戦。
　In 1943, this railway bridge was completed. But the war ended without placing the rails.

新島穣が１９８４年に函館から密出国する前に、風待ちのため、ここ下風呂に数日寄港したそうです。



公衆温泉は湯が熱かった。
