３ｍとやや高めのうねりの中、左舷斜め後方ないしはアビームに近い風を受けてずっと7ｋｔ近い速度で走っています。ハワイからマルケサスまでの長い上り航海とは違い、ローリングはあるもののずっと気分的に楽で、雲泥の差があるように感じます。これまでよりは大きい飛魚を良く見ますが、鳥はめったに飛来せず、ケンケンには魚がまだかかりません。ヌクヒバ出てからまだ船にも出会っていません。Ａｈｅと言う環礁の西を通過して、ランギロア環礁とＡｒｕｔｕｎａ環礁の２０Ｍの間を通ってタヒチへ向かいます。

 We have been enjoying somewhat easier sailing at around 7kt with 15-18 kt wind from port quarter, enduring some rolling cause by 3m swells. The sailing condition is much better than that of up wind sailing from Hawaii to Marquesas. Near here ,the flying fish size looks bigger. Birds seldom found. We have not seen any other ship since Nukuhiva departure.

We will pass west side of Atoll Ahe and then through the middle of Atoll Rangiroa and Atoll Arutuna for Papeete.
